Popular Purses at Charles and Calypso

These beautiful little purses are proving to be hugely popular. They are available at Charles and Calypso in North Melbourne. 566 Queensberry St.

Visit Rita and her lovely shop full of little treasures, like jewellery, cushion, bags, and gift ware. Rita is a gorgeous woman with lots of enthusiasm, a great eye for detail and a knack for finding little gems for her clients.

There are 5 DaVia Designs currently in stock (plus a range of handbags) and I will be increasing this range when I get back from Europe in a couple of weeks.

While I am away I will be visiting Barcelona and the wonderful works of Antoni Gaudi. I can't wait. I have been looking forward to this trip for many years. So I hope to come back totally inspired. I will endeavor to up load photo's to this blog in net cafes but I won't give a guarantee to that as I have no idea how accessible these are where I am going.

I am starting to get a little nervous about how I will cope leaving my kids behind. Not for their sake really, they will be fine I am sure, they are very capable kids and my dad, my step-mum and sister will be around all the time. No, I am worried about how I am going to cope, I haven't been away from them for more than a couple of nights in 14 years. And when my son went on camp for 9 days last year I missed him like mad, and I had 2 kids still at home to keep me busy.
Still the food, wine and shoe shopping might distract me. Fingers crossed.

  1. Davia this trip will be fantastic - long-service leave for you! When I was 11 my parents went on their first overseas trip - for two weeks. My sisters and I stayed with our cousins and had the greatest fun. Plus, there were presents at the end of it all! Of course, this was before the internet - we had a couple of postcards and that was it. You know the kids will be fine - they may miss you but they'll be well loved and cared for!

  2. Thanks for the encouragement and support Fiona. I just know it's gonna be great. It is also a bit like the honey moon we never had. When we got married we just couldn't afford an overseas trip. So we camped in a tent at Coffs Harbour on our way back to Queensland where we were living at the time. x :D
